As with Fuller’s Spaceship Earth, the development of system is said to coincide with the development of human intellect. 9, great, and generally a good job of illustrating with examples --- except in the last paragraph, where it would be the most difficult, but also the most provocative, to link James' assertions about cities to particular case studies.
